This is a pictorial of photographs and paintings of gardens wild and tamed to be found all over the world. All work is credited to the best of my ability and unless otherwise stated they do not belong to me.
Scenes from the undersea succulent garden at the San Diego Botanic Gardens as created by Jeff Moore of Solana Succulents and landscaper Bill Teague. Sunset Magazine did a piece on Jeff’s sea-like creations, as did the San Diego Union-Tribune in a more detailed piece. Alas, I don’t think I’ll be able to replicate them in the high mountain desert, but I wish I could! This is my idea of whimsy.
